Rose Quartz: Quartz is chemically composed of silica or silicon dioxide. Quartz forms hexagonal, prismatic crystals when crystallization occurs within open cavities of rocks, whereas in closed spaces small, roundish crystals of quartz are formed instead. Quartz may contain various impurities resulting in diffirent varieties of this mineral. Rose quartz, Citrine is yellow quartz, Amethyst purple, Smoky is grey to black, etc.
