1977 PONTIAC CAN AM, THIS IS A VERY RARE CAR, ONLY BUILT IN 1977, ONLY 1377 PRODUCED, CAN AM CLUB OF AMERICA SAYS ONLY ABOUT 300 STILL EXIST.
GOOD CLEAR TITLE, I ALSO HAVE A PHS TO PROVE IT IS A TRUE CAN AM.
Body is in decent shape, it will need quarters, and door corners fixed, driver front floor board has been patched, but all other floors including trunk floor are good, body panels have usual rust for the age, but nothing that can't be easily fixed by a body shop. frame is in excellent condition, with factory large front and rear sway bars intact. All Can Am only parts are in good shape including the front header panel & grilles, duck tail rear spoiler, and shaker hood and scoop (hood has a few small rust spots in front top corners).
Interior is all intact and will need restored but is in driver condition at present. Factory odometer only shows 03620, which I don't believe is correct (speedometer cable must have been unhooked). Engine and Transmission are number matching to the car, engine has had a stock rebuild done on it and both are currently out of the car. New radiator is also included.
This car has a few odd options on the option sheet that i wanted to share, one is the 97R white vinyl seats which make it the rare optioned mixed color interior Firethorn / white. The other is BS1 addition acoustical insulation, which from what I can tell is a extra layer of carpet in the car, it has 2 sets of GM carpet factory installed, and of course the WW3 CAN-AM option package.
Looks like the steering column has been changed out at some point in its life, because it has the column shifter bump on it, but is a factory tilt model.
Must be picked up in Strafford Mo within 30 days of auction end.
Driver window was broken, but replacement is included.
